PRODUCTION To produce Misket
Stone-Milled Olive Oil, ripened olives are carefully
handpicked. These olives are stone
milled manually. The grinding process is slow and mild. The
resulting olive paste is put into cotton bags; neither water nor heat is applied
externally. A mixture of olive oil and
olive water drips leaving pomace behind. After a few hours,
olive oil separates from the liquid; it is then collected from the top and poured into
a container to rest. |
